Want to help animals here in Vermont? We need your help by voting for the Vermont Humane Federation to receive a $25,000 grant from State Farm® to help improve the lives of animals. This grant would support three critical initiatives: immediate delivery of food and supplies to pets, expansion of affordable wellness services to more pet households, and the creation of a uniform training program for investigators of animal cruelty.

Starting August 18 and running through August 27, U.S. residents who are 18 and older with a valid email address can vote for the VHF (up to 10 votes per day) here. VOTE NOW!

Winners will be announced on September 29th!

The Vermont Humane Federation is a strong, unified network of organizations and individuals dedicated to promoting the welfare of all animals.

Members meet regularly in an effort to network and discuss ideas. The VHF supports educational initiatives and works collaboratively on issues involving animal cruelty and neglect, disaster planning, and ongoing issues pertaining to animal welfare.

The Humane Society of the United States is excited to share this new Pet Food Resource Map for Vermont, which was developed in conjunction with our friends at VDART, Inc – Vermont Disaster Animal Response Team. Families who need a helping hand during this time of crisis shouldn’t have to choose between feeding themselves or feeding their animals.
